Job Role: Photo Editor / Social Media Manager / Video Editor

Compensation range: $1,200 AUD - $1,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A boutique digital marketing agency specialising in premium website design, SEO, and online advertising for Australian service-based businesses. The team focuses on building modern, high-performing websites designed to convert and achieve strong search engine visibility.

Role Overview: The Real Estate Media Delivery Assistant ensures that daily photo sets coming back from overseas editors are checked, cleaned up, organised, and prepared for client delivery. The VA performs only allowed cosmetic edits that do not alter the property’s condition or misrepresent the home. Videos are currently handled by the Venezuelan editor and only require basic monitoring and checking. Long-term, as the business grows, this role may expand into social media support and preparing recruitment content.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Photo Review & Quality Checking

For each daily job:

  • Download and organise the edited photo sets.
  • Check for:
    • Correct exposure
    • Sharpness and clarity

    • Straight verticals (basic lens correction)

B. Allowable Minor Edits (Do These When Necessary)

The VA is authorised to remove or correct small distracting items that do not change the property:

  • Clothes on the floor

  • Garden clutter (watering cans, small items)
  • Power cords where possible
  • Small floor stains
  • Camera reflections

Note: Towels stay — do not remove towels.

C. Prohibited Edits (Never Alter These)

These edits misrepresent the property and must not be made:

  • Chips in walls or paint
  • Damaged fixtures
  • Missing fittings
  • Structural issues or mould
  • Landscaping problems
  • Anything that makes a property look newer, renovated, or altered

If unsure → message the client before doing anything.

  • Send to Manny for approval before issuing to client (unless instructed otherwise)
  • Update job tracker with:
