Job Role: Level 1 Support - I.T Technician
Compensation range: $1500 - $2000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: an Australian-owned web hosting provider offering cPanel/Windows hosting, domains, SSL, and support, known for local support and reliable services for small businesses and individuals. They focus on speed, security, and personalized help with servers, catering to diverse online needs in the Australian market.
Role Overview: The role is primarily help desk support for our Hosting and Email client base. This will involve responding to phone support, email and ticket requests on a daily basis. Issues are wide ranging, from password resets, to device setup or account enquiries. If you have the right skills, there are also web design and server support tasks to assist with.
As part of a small team, based across the country, we all work from home offices. You must have a dedicated office space and be able to work entirely unsupervised.
Your Background:
- Excellent customer service skills, phone manners and a passion in assisting clients with email and hosting support queries.
- Must have excellent communication skills, approachable friendly personality – Our goal as a company is to not just provide customer service but go above and beyond - you must be able to achieve this with your enthusiastic and contagious can-do attitude.
- Flexible attitude to all work duties – you need to be able to adjust to changing duties and tasks, based on the company’s needs.
- Dedicated office space – needs to be free from background noise, with reliable internet connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log all requests in our support system and maintain accurate notes on status, resolutions and escalations
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures and ethical standards.
- Provide remote support to clients via TeamViewer.
- Work with remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets.
- Communicate liaise with customers as required: keeping them informed and updated of incident progress.
