HR Generalist (Recruitment & Payroll)

About the Role

We're looking for an HR Generalist to own and support the day-to-day people function at Hypergen, covering recruitment, payroll and personnel administration, HR operations, and employee development.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and has practical experience with Bulgarian payroll (ТРЗ), personnel administration, and employment legislation.

What You'll Do

• Own the full hiring process: job posts, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers

• Maintain candidate pipelines for key roles

• Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and ensure a strong candidate experience

• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, HR orders, and other personnel documentation

• Administer hires, terminations, vacation, sick leave, and other employee changes

• Prepare payroll data and coordinate monthly payroll with accounting

• Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with the Bulgarian Labour Code, employment legislation, and GDPR

• Manage onboarding and exit processes and track key HR deadlines, including probation periods, contract expirations, and performance reviews

• Maintain and improve internal HR processes and documentation

• Support performance reviews, employee development, training, and other people initiatives

• Gather employee feedback and help identify opportunities to improve employee experience and engagement
