Job Overview

My client is a leading Web3 and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) company and looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer (Solidity/Rust/Move) roles.

Core Responsibilities

  • Protocol Architecture & Deployment: Architect and implement core on-chain protocols for a Decentralized Exchange (DEX), including capital vaults, clearinghouses, and settlement engines.

  • On-Chain Transaction Logic: Develop the underlying logic for clearing and settlement processes, ensuring high-fidelity integration with off-chain high-performance matching engines.

  • Oracle System Integration: Design and maintain robust Oracle contract frameworks to support real-time price feeds, data validation, and asset valuation.

  • Security & Audit Management: Lead smart contract security hardening initiatives, collaborate with external auditors to rectify vulnerabilities, and oversee mainnet deployments.

  • End-to-End Synergy: Partner with backend and QA teams to bridge the gap between off-chain trade commands and on-chain fund movements for seamless execution.

Candidate Requirements

  • Academic Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cryptography, or a related technical field.

  • Solidity Mastery: 3+ years of professional Solidity development with deep expertise in EVM mechanics, Gas optimization techniques, and ERC standards.

  • DeFi Domain Expertise: 2+ years of specialized experience in DEX clearing and settlement workflows, including sophisticated Oracle integration.

  • Multi-Chain Proficiency: Proficient in Rust or Move programming, with the ability to lead contract module development across diverse blockchain ecosystems.

  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of the architectural paradigms of high-performance chains such as Solana or Sui.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing advanced vault standards (e.g., ERC-4626, ERC-7540, or ERC-7575) and complex accounting logic.

  • Familiarity with advanced security methodologies, including Fuzzing or Formal Verification.

  • Proven track record of successful smart contract audits or hands-on experience in incident response and protocol hardening.
