Position Summary
The ECMO Trainer & Simulation Educator plays a central role in Integration Health’s ECLS consulting and staffing services. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and standardizing high‑quality ECLS education and simulation experiences across multiple client sites. The role ensures clinicians receive consistent, evidence‑based training that aligns with ELSO standards and Integration Health’s commitment to excellence. This is a highly mobile, client‑facing position requiring strong clinical expertise, instructional skill, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Leadership
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive ECLS curriculum for all learner levels across diverse client environments.
- Standardize instructional methods, competency tools, and evaluation processes across Integration Health engagements.
- Deliver expert‑level didactic, hands‑on, and scenario‑based training for multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure all content reflects current ELSO guidelines, industry best practices, and Integration Health quality standards.
Training Registration & Enrollment Management
- Responsible for coordinating and managing the end‑to‑end training registration process, including course setup, participant enrollment, confirmations, waitlists, and attendance tracking.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for learners and internal stakeholders, ensuring a seamless registration experience and accurate data management across learning platforms.
- Collaborates closely with education, operations, and faculty teams to support timely, compliant, and well‑organized training delivery.
LMS Administration
- Upload and organize training content, modules, and assessments
- Manage user access, enrollment, and course assignments
- Track learner progress and generate reports for internal and client use
- Support troubleshooting and user assistance for LMS‑related issues
Simulation Program Coordination
- Design, execute, and evaluate high‑fidelity ECLS simulation scenarios, including emergency response and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate simulation logistics across client sites, ensuring equipment readiness and scenario consistency.
- Facilitate structured debriefings that reinforce clinical reasoning, teamwork, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with client leadership to identify training gaps and translate them into targeted simulation initiatives.
Competency & Quality Assurance
- Oversee initial and ongoing competency validation for clinicians trained or deployed by Integration Health.
- Maintain standardized competency checklists, evaluation rubrics, and documentation processes.
- Provide individualized coaching, remediation, and performance feedback.
- Track training outcomes and competency trends to support continuous improvement.
Program Development & Client Support
- Support ECMO and Perfusion program builds, expansions, and readiness assessments for client organizations.
- Contribute to policy development, workflow optimization, and operational planning.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert during consulting engagements, offering guidance on best practices and training strategy.
- Assist with onboarding and development of new Integration Health educators and clinical staff.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between Integration Health, client clinical teams, and simulation centers.
- Coordinate training schedules, resource allocation, and communication across multiple client sites.
- Provide regular updates to Integration Health leadership on training progress, client needs, and program performance.
Qualifications
Required
- Clinical background in critical care (RN, RT, APP, Perfusionist, or equivalent).
- Significant experience in ECLS/ECMO operations and bedside management.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical education, simulation‑based training, or adult learning.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and debriefing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple training programs across diverse client environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%, including multi‑day and out‑of‑state assignments.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working in dynamic, fast‑paced consulting settings.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Certification in simulation education (e.g., CHSE) or ECMO specialist certification.
- Experience in consulting, program development, or multisite clinical education.
- Familiarity with ELSO guidelines, accreditation standards, and ECMO program operations.

Eligible dependents may be added to the employee's benefits selections, with 30% of the premium costs deducted from the employee's payroll.

- Full-time employees may elect to participate in the Employer's 401(k) retirement plan. Participants may make pre-tax or Roth contributions to a retirement account. IH matches contributions at 100% of the first 1% of the employee's deferrals and 50% of deferrals between 1% and 6% of the employee’s salary.
- Great salary ranging from $85,000-$120,000.
