Job Overview
- Maintain site power availability in line with the SLAs for the different categories of sites within area of responsibility.
- Ensure an MTTR of less than <1hr=60km,<2hrs=200km,<3hrs=300km,<5hrs=400km on all power/passive related failures impacting service.
- Provide permanent solution to failures which impact on service that have occurred more than once and keep repetitive failures to a minimum.
- Provide second level intervention on all network impacting issues.
- Monitor preventive maintenance and refueling activities of passive elements at site in area of jurisdiction.
- Carry out audit checks on all sites within area of jurisdiction.
- Maintain cost efficiency by timely response to GRC & sites with consumptions not consistent to power topology to ensure fuel consumption is in-line with power topology expectations
- Timely escalation of severe network impacting faults.
- Adhere to NOC escalations and closure procedures of faults.
- Monitor the adherence of processes and procedure by sub - contractors in the areas of routine maintenance and refueling activities.
- Input in the assessment of the sub-contractor performance monthly
- Deliver expected network performance (through enhancing controls, optimizing preventive maintenance, spare parts control and availability, team’s distribution, fuel management and control)
- Maintain a database of all IHS assets on allocated sites with updated information and accurate reporting using the IHS Online Maintenance Application.
- Define Preventive/Routine maintenance schedules and plans (upgrades) for sites.
- Develop & follow up and validate preventive maintenance schedules & execution and ensure the work quality is aligned to expectations. - Ensure preventive and curative maintenance timelines along with quality are met & delivered
- Organize meetings with support technicians and reporting to Manager, Region and other Departments.
