Job Overview
- Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the local P&C action plan.
- Keep daily P&C work running smoothly, this includes managing co-worker queries, preparing letters, updating co-worker records, keeping information accurate in the HRMS system, business reporting, booking travel, handling invoices, and supporting everyday tasks in a clear and practical way.
- Provide guidance, support, and recommendations to co-workers and managers on matters related to co-worker relations, ensuring all actions and advice align with labour relations principles, applicable local policies and procedures, and relevant employment laws.
- Plan and implement meaningful activities as per the people calendar and support co-worker engagement and well-being. Support our diversity and inclusion efforts. Help keep co-workers, leaders, and teams connected through clear and open communication.
- Responsible for recruitment as per manpower plan and positioning of IKEA as an attractive place to work and the preferred employer in the market. Manage onboarding activities to create a smooth and positive first experience for every new co-worker.
- Responsible for coordinating end-to-end training activities, including conducting needs assessments, creating the training calendar, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Contribute to staff cost budget compliance, help to secure a diverse, appropriate staff structure and support the defined business and productivity goals.
- Ensure all P&C work reflect a local employer communication that is consistent, well perceived and builds on the IKEA brand.
- Act as a cultural role model in ways that demonstrate the IKEA values within and outside IKEA, which also includes to safeguard and promote the IKEA Culture.
