Job Overview
At IMC our team of Business Partners play an important and strategic role in the development of our employees and leaders. We’re seeking a confident, driven, collaborative and engaging HR Consultant to join our progressive and growing HR team.
As a successful HR Consultant you will partner with HR Business Partners, employees and people leaders to drive high performance, employee engagement and continuous improvement. Our HR Consultant will be tasked with ensuring that we consistently deliver an exceptional working environment and employee experience.
You will support across your allocated business area partnering closely with your key stakeholders across all aspects of HR. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will work with the business to add value and achieve business goals. Your daily responsibilities will revolve supporting the BP Business partners with their day-to-day operations, supporting with all cyclical HR work including, but not limited to, performance reviews, traineeship and internships, and supporting managers on HR matters. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of HR projects that align with the overall business strategy.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Support HR Business Partners with reporting, insights, and preparation for cyclical people processes and annual HR activities.
- Provide consistent day-to-day operational and advisory support to HR Business Partners across their client groups.
- Support broader HR operations, including employee termination processes, in close partnership with the HR Coordinator.
- Provide project support to HR Business Partners, assisting with planning, coordination, delivery, and follow-up activities.
- Provide timely, practical guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, remuneration, and compliance matters, escalating complex issues as required.
- Work collaboratively with core HR functions (HR Operations, Recruitment, and Marketing) to support a seamless and consistent end-to-end employee experience.
- Support the delivery of key HR programs and activities, including graduate recruitment, learning and development initiatives, and people manager capability development.
- Support the analysis of workforce trends and people metrics to inform the development and execution of targeted solutions, programs, and policies, including maintaining dashboards to track key People metrics.
Your Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in HR Advisory in a progressive, high touch, fast paced environment.
- Preparedness to participate in 1:1 meetings and maintain high levels of engagement, energy and motivation within the team.
- Ability to build credibility with leaders as an advisor who provides quality advice and follows through on commitments.
- Superior communication skills, able to convey confidence, empathy and trust via candor and diplomacy to build effective relationships.
- Possess common sense and pragmatism to solve problems and get results.
