Finance Analyst – 6-month Fixed Term Contract

London Based with Hybrid working

We're looking for an interim Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in London for a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.

Working within the Finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of agencies based in in London, Manchester and Macclesfield in achieving project profitability and billability through the provision of financial information, and the financial management of client projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assists in the preparation and completion of monthly management accounts, annual audits, and associated reporting
• Supports the salary costing process and freelance management
• Assists in managing intercompany balances within Nucleus and in the wider Inizio group entities
• Works on financial reconciliations and recharges
• Monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Provides analysis as required and supports reports to the Finance Director
• Prepares journals and works with Shared Services during the month end
• Manages purchase orders, coding and supports the Shared Services function
• Manages credit card and large vendor accounts
• Variance analysis commentaries
• Assists the business training on systems and financials
• Internal liaison with other team members, central teams and agency colleagues as required, ensuring efficient information flow and delivery of assigned projects

Skills and Experience Required:

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Previous accounting or Finance experience
• Part qualified in recognised accounting qualification
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to improving processes
