Your mission

    As Interim VP People, you will step into a pivotal leadership role during a key phase of our growth — covering a maternity leave from August (possibly sooner) through December 2026. Working 2–3 days per week, you will serve as the senior People partner to the leadership team, keeping our people strategy on track, maintaining the team experience Insify is known for, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving environment.

    You will have full context from the outgoing VP People through a structured handover, and you will operate with real autonomy and ownership from day one.

     

In particular you will:

  • Act as the senior People lead for the leadership team — serving as the main HR point of contact for managers and employees.

  • Own ongoing people operations — from contracts, onboarding, and offboarding to payroll coordination, HR tooling, and compliance across jurisdictions.

  • Drive recruitment where needed — partnering with hiring managers to fill critical roles during the coverage period, maintaining our high bar for talent.

  • Support and coach managers — being a trusted sparring partner for team leads on performance, team dynamics, and people challenges.

  • Keep the culture strong — running or delegating key rituals (team events, onboarding experience, internal comms) to ensure the Insify culture stays vibrant.

  • Manage the people roadmap — picking up and delivering planned people initiatives (compensation review, engagement, L&D, tooling improvements) within the defined scope.

  • Ensure a smooth handover back — documenting decisions, flagging open items, and setting up the returning VP People for a clean re-entry.

This role is a strong fit if you:

  • Have 10+ years of People / HR experience, including time as a senior HR lead or HRBP in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.

  • Are comfortable operating as a generalist across the full people spectrum — from operational HR to culture, recruitment, and manager coaching.

  • Can hit the ground running — you don't need months of ramp-up; you onboard quickly and take ownership early.

  • Are confident advising leadership and operating without a large HR team beneath you.

  • Are organised, calm under ambiguity, and able to prioritise ruthlessly in a part-time capacity.

  • Are motivated by impact over visibility — you're here to keep things running exceptionally well, not to reinvent everything

This role is not for you if:

  • You need a large team or extensive resources to be effective.

  • You prefer building new HR frameworks over maintaining and iterating on existing ones.

  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity or working across multiple topics at once.

  • You need a long handover or settling-in period before taking ownership.

  • You're looking for a full-time permanent role — this is a fixed-term interim engagement.

  • You want to work remotely, this is a fully in-office role.
