International Health and Medical Services is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role includes managing daily operations, addressing clinical issues, and fostering a collaborative environment to promote optimal patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the management, supervision and evaluation of care delivered by nursing and other allied health staff for assigned areas on a 24-hour basis.
- Use appropriate consultation with experts of each discipline he/she supervises to ensure that practice and performance issues are addressed and resolved.
- Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components.
- Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team and leading innovative process improvement initiatives.
- Execute position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
- Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance.
- Function as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
- Influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based programs and processes.
- Perform initial patient triage and ongoing assessment and treatment of acute/urgent presenting symptoms in collaboration with the provider.
- Use critical thinking and excellent communication skills to care for patients.
- Knowledgeable of an array of presenting symptoms to quickly triage with appropriate use of nursing protocols in providing evidence-based care.
- Take vital signs, collects specimens for lab testing, administers medications, administers IV fluid, performs 12-lead EKG as needed.
- Performs point-of-care testing.
- Accurately documents care given.
- Strictly follows all infection control guidelines to provide safe patient care.
