Design Engineer

• Design AV systems to integrate with enterprise network using TCP/IP protocol, network topologies, and QoS; Develop and implement AV system architecture with video/audio transport over IP;
• Ensure reliable AV transmission over wireless infrastructure using Wireless Networking;
• Integrate AV systems using QoS (Quality of Service signaling and multimedia session initiation protocols for AV conferencing functionality;
• Design functional and technical scopes of complex audio/video conferencing systems to define system requirements and technical specifications using Extron systems (Extron Global Configurator/Extron AV Associate), Tesira 101 Core Concepts, Computer and Network Security;
• Perform site surveys to gather accurate design inputs and environmental data for AV planning and integration using Radio System Design; Analyze and forecast AV bandwidth usage, applying traffic engineering concept, Network Design and Management;
• Transfer presale documents and technical analysis to Operations for final design and project management;
• Troubleshoot technical issues for post-sale system augmentation.

Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer Science,

Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering + skills and knowledge of TCP/IP, Wireless Networking, QoS, Wireless Security, Radio System Design, Network Design, Extron Systems.
