About the Role:

As a Senior Product Manager - International at ixigo, you will lead our most strategic growth frontier. You will be responsible for transforming ixigo into a global travel powerhouse. As the charter owner, you aren’t just managing a category; you are the architect of a global travel ecosystem. 

Your mission is to build a world-class international flight booking experience that handles the complexities of international travel by providing inspiration for travel, understanding use cases for traveller needs during international travel, creating a world-class inventory of flights, all while delivering the "ixigo experience" our users love.

Responsibilities:

  • The International Strategy & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end product vision for International travel. You’ll scale our footprint by identifying market-specific gaps and building features that cater to unique needs like long-haul discovery, budget-based travel recommendations, visa-integrated workflows, and multi-city routing.

  • Driving product-led growth: Build features to attract a new user base specifically for international travel. You will be building high-intent entry points, working closely with those who turn first-time international explorers into a self-sustaining, loyal user base.

  • AI-Driven Discovery & Personalization: Move beyond static recommendations. You will build intelligent recommendation engines that help users discover destinations based on visa ease, budget, and travel intent, turning "inspiration" into "transaction."

  • Conversion & Funnel Excellence: Own the search-to-book journey. You will use rigorous A/B testing to optimize complex multi-step flows, ensuring personalized flight recommendations, baggage clarity, seat-selection logic, and transparent pricing to drive industry-leading conversion rates.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the strategic bridge between different product functions, Engineering, UI/UX, and Marketing. You will translate high-level business goals into high-impact, execution-ready PRDs and user-centric designs.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Build systems to monitor the global landscape in real-time for international travel and improve the overall flight experience. 

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within a high-growth B2C tech company or an OTA. Experience with improving the top of the funnel through product-led growth features is a huge plus

  • User-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to identify consumer needs and translate them into great UX/UI. You understand the needs of Indian citizens while travelling to international destinations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Technical proficiency, including familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Clevertap). 

  • Execution Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality features in an agile environment

Additional (Preferred):

  • OTA Experience: Familiarity with the nuances of the Indian travel market and seasonal booking patterns

  • Growth Mindset: A "hacker" mentality—constantly looking for small tweaks that lead to outsized gains in conversion

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, informal startup environment and provide hands-on management.

  • A high energy level and an untiring commitment to drive yourself and the team toward ambitious goals.
