As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing logistical operations, ensuring seamless stock management, invoice verification and project management of optimizations projects. You’ll also manage relationships with carriers and suppliers for your designated country, making an impact on efficiency and service quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cost Analysis & Control: Monitor 3PL warehousing and distribution costs and perform detailed cost development analysis.
- Carrier & 3PL Management: Act as the main point of contact for operational issues with 3PLs. Managing monthly KPI meetings with suppliers. Develop and maintain KPIs and service levels, implementing improvement actions where needed.
- Inventory Management: Ensure stock accuracy and reliability while minimizing costs. Perform daily reconciliation between SAP and warehouse systems.
- Finance: Generate purchase orders, verify invoices, and resolve payment discrepancies. Responsible of the financial month-end closing for you area of responsibility.
