JDE Peet’s is looking for an enthusiastic Media Planner Belgium (temp - ad interim - freelance) to support our Belgian business during a maternity leave.
Period: 15 January – end of June 2025 (possible extension until end of August)
Workload: 3 days/week
Location: Brussels office
You will work on some of Belgium’s most iconic coffee brands, Douwe Egberts, L’OR and Senseo, and help bring our media plans to life across online and offline channels. While high-level strategy will be managed by our Media Manager in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for the day-to-day media planning and execution in Belgium, ensuring our campaigns run smoothly, efficiently and in line with global guidelines.
What you will do
- Translate approved media strategies into concrete media plans and campaigns for the Belgian market.
- Oversee the project management of campaigns:
- Validate plans, brief partners, share feedback
- Distribute technical specifications and ensure all assets are delivered on time
- Check that campaigns go live correctly and on schedule (setup itself is done by the agency)
- Monitor ongoing performance, follow up on reporting, and support post-campaign evaluations.
- Oversee operational budget management and ensure plans stay aligned with brand objectives and global frameworks.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (brand and marketing managers), keeping them aligned on campaign planning, progress, and key learnings.
- Manage relationships with external partners: our media agency, specialised agencies, and sales houses to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and digital trends to identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
