Senior Quantity Surveyor

JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our prestigious team, where you'll play a vital role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our high-profile construction projects. Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities for various construction projects.
• Manage cost planning and financial reporting, ensuring projects remain within budget and are financially viable.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, managing inquiries regarding costs and procurement.
• Perform value engineering assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Oversee contract administration, including contract negotiations, variations, and claims management.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior quantity surveyors, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction or civil engineering environment.
• Professional qualification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management techniques.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
