Job Overview

Create, support and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, with a specific focus on the entertainment and media categories. As a key management support role, assist the Store Management team with storewide objectives.

  • Achieve sales and profitability targets for your store
  •  Ensure all Media & Entertainment department activities meet compliance and legislative standards, with an emphasis on Safety, including in-store process and incident reporting
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a positive experience for both instore and online customers
  • Maintain a high standard of pricing integrity across the Media & Entertainment department
  • Cross train, develop and support sales team members on all aspects of Media & Entertainment department products and services
  • Ensure all sales activities meet compliance and legislative standards, including meeting responsibilities outlined in the CGA or other legislation
  • Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and management of controllable expenses
  • Assist the Store Management team, where required, in all daily operational aspects of the store
  • Continuously improve skills and product knowledge through available online platforms and participation in other development opportunities
  • Keep informed of industry trends and market developments
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to further develop this role and present recommendations to Management accordingly
