About the team :
The channel marketing team is responsible for driving viewer engagement and promoting the Star Maa channel's brand across multiple platforms. The team creates and executes marketing plans, such as campaigns for show launches, brand partnerships, and audience reach. They collaborate closely with the programming, creative communications, and digital marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximize reach. With a focus on regional markets and audience preferences, the team creates targeted promotions, media planning with ATL and marketing activation with BTL driving micro-marketing and on-ground activation, and digital strategies that enhance the channel's visibility. Their work assures a strong brand presence and fosters audience loyalty in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end execution of creative communication deliverables.
  • Understand creative workflows, asset types, formats, and platform requirements.
  • Ensure the right creatives are produced, tracked, and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to keep work moving seamlessly.
  • Be part of on-set coordination for promos, shoots, and shoulder content.
  • Ensure on-set requirements align with creative briefs and final deliverables.
  • Maintain clarity on what goes where, by when, and in what format.
  • Support the Creative Lead by curating quick ideas or fixes for fast turnaround needs.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency across outputs.
  • Works closely with: Creative team, Marketing, Content, Social, Agencies, and Production partners.

Skills & Attributes for success:

  • Strong understanding of creative processes and execution workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with shoot coordination and on-ground execution.
  • A problem-solving mindset—able to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
  • Open to feedback, iterations, and quick course corrections.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with follow-ups.
  • Ability to think creatively under tight timelines.
  • Strong grasp of Telugu culture, language and sensibilities.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in creative operations, creative project management, or communications execution.
  • Experience in media, OTT, entertainment, digital, or agency environments.
  • Hands-on exposure to campaign execution, asset delivery, and creative workflows.
  • Familiarity with tools like project trackers, dashboards, and collaboration platforms.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Media (Good-to-have not mandatory).
