We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Specialist to support and enhance enterprise SharePoint environments and collaboration tools. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint applications, workflows, and document libraries while ensuring operational efficiency and seamless user experience. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, implement enhancements, and provide technical guidance for SharePoint transitions, including migration to SharePoint Online. This position requires advanced SharePoint expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex workflows within a secure, mission-driven environment. The role is remote, offering flexibility while allowing impactful collaboration across teams.
Accountabilities
· Maintain, update, and optimize SharePoint tools, applications, and workflows within the enterprise environment.
· Support the transition from legacy SharePoint platforms (e.g., SharePoint 2013) to SharePoint Online.
· Design and modify complex workflows using SharePoint Designer and other relevant tools.
· Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions, enhance functionality, and document processes.
· Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, usability, and overall SharePoint performance.
· Ensure compliance with organizational standards and maintain documentation for management and reporting.
Requirements
· Master’s degree with 12 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience in IT or related fields.
· Minimum 10 years of MS SharePoint development and administration experience.
· Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
· Must hold and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
· Ability to collaborate with teams, gather requirements, and implement technical solutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Experience in enterprise SharePoint migrations and large-scale workflow optimization.
