This role is part of a dynamic engineering team building highly predictive, inclusive, and fair interviewing products. The Software Engineer will work across the full technology stack, developing scalable services, APIs, and frontend components while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The position requires balancing technical excellence with product thinking to solve complex challenges that directly impact users and clients. Engineers in this role leverage modern programming languages and frameworks, as well as AI-assisted tools, to accelerate development. Accountabilities:

·         Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and frontend components using modern technologies such as TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, and GraphQL.

·         Harness AI tools to accelerate development, prototype new features, and enhance coding efficiency.

·         Collaborate with Data Scientists, Designers, Product Managers, and fellow Engineers to deliver robust, user-friendly products.

·         Maintain high-quality coding standards, monitoring, and testing to minimize defects and ensure reliability of services.

·         Support 24/7 service availability and monitor system performance to maintain operational excellence.

·         Adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced product development environments, addressing technical challenges proactively.

Requirements

·         Professional experience writing production-quality code in at least one modern programming language or framework (TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js).

·         Demonstrated ability to develop web applications following modern best practices.

·         Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted coding and LLM tools to enhance development speed and quality.

·         Collaborative team experience, working with cross-functional stakeholders on complex product problems.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

·         Flexibility and curiosity to learn new technologies and tackle complex technical challenges.

·         Eligible to work in the United States and reside in one of the following states: CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, MO, NC, NV, OR, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, or WA.

o    GeoLo 3: $80,000—$112,000 USD

o    GeoLo 4: $70,000—$98,000 USD
