As a Senior Systems Operation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of critical IT infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance system performance and resilience while mentoring a team of SysOps engineers to maintain operational excellence. Working with cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Azure, and automation frameworks, you will drive improvements in monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure management. Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, enhancement, and maintenance of operational monitoring frameworks to ensure system stability and high availability.
  • Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructures, focusing on resilience, cost optimization, and security compliance.
  • Utilize tools and technologies including Linux, Windows Server, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, VMware, Hyper-V, and Keycloak.
  • Oversee configuration, patch, and access management using platforms like WSUS, SCCM, or Ansible.
  • Implement effective incident management and performance troubleshooting strategies to ensure rapid issue resolution.
  • Mentor and guide SysOps Engineers, promoting continuous learning and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient infrastructure operations and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in System Operations or Systems Administration.
  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as hybrid or on-premise infrastructures.
  • Strong skills in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting systems across diverse environments.
  • Proficiency in networking, security protocols, backup/recovery strategies, and database management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience guiding technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
