Business Analyst, Enterprise Applications

As a Business Analyst for Enterprise Applications, you will act as a bridge between business teams and technology, helping optimize the use of enterprise IT tools and applications. You will analyze requests for new features or modifications, document requirements, and ensure solutions align with business needs. This role requires conducting user acceptance testing, supporting Jira projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements. You will work in a dynamic, remote environment where your analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail directly contribute to the efficiency and success of enterprise systems.

Accountabilities

• Analyze support requests, new feature requests, and modifications, triaging and documenting detailed requirements.
• Facilitate user requirements sessions, create user stories, and track deliverables using established processes.
• Support Jira projects, including managing roles, workflows, ticket security, and plug-ins.
• Conduct regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure implemented solutions meet business expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and customers to ensure requirements are captured and addressed appropriately.
• Proactively identify potential project issues and provide solutions to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to change management, compliance, security, and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2.5 years of experience in enterprise ITSM, case management, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid software development methodologies.
• Experience in requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and managing enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in user-friendly language.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (or similar), case management, and knowledge management systems.
• Preferred: Intermediate SQL/JQL experience, test strategy, and test data preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field; Agile-related certifications are a plus.
