The Role:

The Program and Training Coordinator supports the onboarding and training of clinical and engagement staff. This individual works closely with subject matter experts to coordinate and deliver comprehensive training programs, ensuring staff are well-prepared to provide high-quality care and engagement services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical training, program coordination, and staff development, with the ability to create structured onboarding experiences that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

Key responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Lead and manage the onboarding process for new clinical and engagement staff, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization
  • Coordinate and schedule trainings with subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring that educational programs are aligned with clinical and operational needs
  • Develop and implement training materials, guides, and resources to support staff education and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with clinical training standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices
  • Track and monitor staff training progress, identifying gaps and areas for improvement
  • Facilitate orientation sessions and hands-on clinical training to support new hires in their roles
  • Collaborate with leadership and SMEs to continuously improve training programs based on feedback and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and records, ensuring all staff meet necessary training and certification requirements
  • Provide support and mentorship to new hires and existing staff, reinforcing key learning objectives and protocols
  • Stay updated on clinical best practices, healthcare regulations, and training methodologies to enhance program effectiveness


A strong candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical training, onboarding, or nursing education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or a related field (master’s preferred)
  • Strong ability to coordinate training programs and collaborate with subject matter experts
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to ensure smooth training execution
  • Experience developing training materials, curriculum, and competency assessments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with new hires, trainers, and leadership teams
  • Ability to track and analyze training effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training documentation tools
  • Passion for staff development, mentorship, and fostering a strong learning culture
