Our Outside School Hours Care service, Mitchelton State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
This permanent part-time opportunity offers 20 hours per week. You'll work Monday to Friday in split shifts across our programs:
☀️ Rise then Shine Program – Morning shifts (6:00am – 8:50am)
🎒 Stay and Play Program – Afternoon shifts (2:50pm – 6:00pm)
🏖️ Holiday HQ Program – Extra hours available during school holidays (6:00am – 6:00pm)

Your role will include:
- Leading fun-filled programs where children explore everything from STEM and sports to arts & crafts (whatever sparks their imagination!).
- Fostering strong connections with children, parents, and the school community to create a nurturing environment.
- Managing a team of passionate Educators, including organizing rosters and helping them grow in their roles.
- Assisting with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring everything runs smoothly, including compliance and administration.
