Helping Hands Kilcoy is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is a permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 4 hours of dedicated noncontact administrative time to support your success.

Service hours include:

  • Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
  • Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
  • School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About Kilcoy Helping Hands 

Helping Hands Kilcoy is a growing service that proudly supports families within the local rural community. As one of our newer services, it currently welcomes an average of 15 children each session, allowing educators to build strong relationships with children and families while providing personalised care and support. The service plays an important role within the close-knit country town, working collaboratively with the school and community to meet the needs of local families.

Featuring a large indoor environment, the service is able to set up and pack down each day, creating flexible and engaging play spaces that encourage open-ended play, creativity, and exploration. Helping Hands Kilcoy is also committed to supporting the growth and development of its educators, fostering a positive team culture where staff can build their skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

About your new role

As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership: 

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
  • Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.
