Product Analytics Team Lead
Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Analysts, ensuring high performance and continuous professional growth
- Build, maintain, and improve analytical processes, standards, and best practices across the product organization
- Define, track, and enhance key product metrics (activation, conversion, retention, ARPU, LTV, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to drive correct data-informed decision-making
- Take ownership of complex product problems and contribute to strategic product and business decisions
- Build and validate product hypotheses, identify growth opportunities, and detect issues early through structured analysis
- Design, evaluate, and interpret A/B tests, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Connect analytical findings with business goals, demonstrating how product analysis impacts outcomes
- Automate reporting processes and develop dashboards tailored to various stakeholders
- Monitor key product and business metrics, investigating anomalies and identifying root causes
- Identify patterns and dependencies in user behavior data, generating new product hypotheses
- Develop and maintain high-quality dashboards and analytical artifacts for product teams and executives
- Identify, document, and close data gaps across analytics tools (GA4, Amplitude, BigQuery, Tableau)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst in a product-driven company
- 1+ year of experience leading, managing, or mentoring a team of analysts
- Strong ownership mentality and exceptional attention to detail in data analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of core product metrics, user segmentation, and building product funnels
- Strong knowledge of statistical foundations, experimental design, and hypothesis testing
- Advanced understanding of A/B testing principles, statistical significance, and experiment evaluation
- Proven experience delivering analytical solutions for complex product challenges
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Metabase)
- Experience working with product analytics systems (e.g., GA4, BigQuery, Amplitude, Firebase, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel)
- Strong English written/verbal communication skills
