Salon Educator (Key Accounts)

Are you a passionate, high‑calibre educator ready to make a major impact in Canada’s professional salon landscape? Kao Salon Division Canada is looking for a dynamic, influential Full-Time Educator to champion our key Market Leader salon partners across British Columbia (50%) and Alberta (50%).

This is a rare opportunity to join a globally respected beauty company—home of Goldwell, KMS, Kerasilk, and Oribe—and shape the success of top-tier salons through exceptional education, strategy, and creativity.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Education leadership to acquire, convert, and grow our most strategic salons. You’ll design compelling education offers, deliver world‑class training, and build long‑term partnerships that elevate the craft and fuel business growth.

At Kao Canada, we offer an excellent benefits package, plus a competitive salary of $70,000 – $75,000, bonus, and car allowance.

What You’ll Do – Your Impact

Lead Education for Market Leader Salons (BC Direct Market)

• Partner with the Area Sales Manager & Sr. Education Manager to identify, prospect, and win top-performing salons.
• Build standout education proposals, lead conversion programs, and coordinate District Educators/Artists to support execution.
• Co‑facilitate Joint Business Planning meetings—conduct assessments, design custom training roadmaps, and present strategic education plans.
• Collaborate with Education leadership to bring exclusive programs, special events, and private trainings to life.

Grow the Indirect Market (Alberta)

• Work alongside Distributor Teams & Sr. Education Manager to identify and pursue high-value Market Leader salons.
• Lead innovative conversion education, follow-up coaching, and long-term development plans.
• Conduct impactful business reviews, assessments, training strategy presentations, and program execution.
• Support Education leadership in delivering private events and elevated salon experiences.

Be a Regional Education Champion

• Support major events, shows, distributor activations, and regional initiatives that elevate the Kao brand presence.
• Submit monthly education reports and contribute insights that help shape strategy across Western Canada.

What You Bring – Your Expertise

• Active Hairstyling License with minimum 5 years experience behind the chair.
• Strong technical foundation across cutting, styling, colour, texture, and finishing.
• Experience working in or supporting Market Leader salons
• Proven experience inspiring and educating stylists at every level.
• A valid driver’s license and the drive (literally!) to travel the BC/AB territory.
• A passion for innovative education, leadership, and growing salon performance through partnership.
