Job Overview:

As a Reel/Video Editor, you are required to brainstorm, ideate, co-ordinate and create unique and innovative reels for KC’s study abroad business.

You are expected to have a strong grasp of current marketing tools, video editing software, and should be able to execute projects from start to end on a timely basis. You will be aligned with the Social Media Marketing & Video team and will need to coordinate with different departments internally for the creation and execution of the videos/ reels.

Responsibilities:

● To Shoot engaging video clips using smartphones or professional cameras while ensuring high production quality.

● To create informative reels/videos using good graphics, self-recorded photos/ videos or downloaded images from the image bank along with the audience-appropriate audio

● To brainstorm new and creative ideas and strategies for reel content creation

● To identify the latest and current trends and to create video content in line with what is trending and relatable to students

● To get more views, likes, shares, followers, and subscribers via innovative reel marketing content thereby enhancing the brand awareness of KC within the digital space

● To develop, implement, and manage the reel marketing calendar for the Financial Year

● To generate good quality, engaging reels at the pre-decided Daily/ weekly/ monthly frequency

● To collaborate with internal stakeholders like social media team, design team, country teams for their suggestions, content approvals, and reel approvals.

● To collaborate with external stakeholders like students, parents, and partners to create exciting and innovative reels

● To conduct monthly/ quarterly competitor analysis and to make suggestions/ recommendations on the learnings and insights gained

● To track, measure, and report the performance of reels and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

● Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the reel creation, Improve the video and sound quality using various video editing software
