Your contribution to something big:
- Industrial Engineer supports manufacturing in new planning and redesign of production systems and in manufacturing optimizations.
- Collaborate on quotations of new projects by establishing the product planning steps (assembly methods and sequence) considering minimum/optimum time and document it.
- Work on the standardization and optimization of existing manufacturing systems (including all standards) with the goal of increased productivity and reduced total cost.
- Responsible for the quality of time management. Perform time studies for all YFINs and control routing.
- Calculate monthly line capacities based on Short Term Planning (STP) quantities.
- Follow Ergonomics standards, ESD and 5Ss.
- Continuous improvement by supporting daily management and Overall System Cip on the projects created by the VS and given new solutions/ideas.
Collaborate on the Industrialization of new products:
- Assist the fast production ramp-up by using efficient planning methods and tools (Value Stream Design (VSD), Balance Sheet) and interact with all departments (Core Project Team (CPT));
- Guarantee that all deliverables of the project are available in time for the milestones according Manufacturing Engineering Process (MEP);
- Collaborate very early in the product development process - at Design For Manufacturing Assembly (DFMA) workshop - by given inputs earlier in the design phase that will best fit to our processes;
- Participate on Lean Line Designs (LLD);
- Prepare all physical conditions for sample runs as well the standards needed (Production Quality Instructions (PQI), Capacity charts, operator movements/"dance" (STAB));
- Participate on the Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and follow improvements on the process;
- Guaranty operators training;
- Follow Production Line Release.
