Step into the role of Co-op Intern within our FAM Department, where you'll immerse yourself in an enriching experience that offers extensive industry exposure. From participating in the complete planning cycle of familiarization trips to engaging with various departments like sales, marketing, learning and development, and product, this internship promises a comprehensive understanding of our operations.
Industry Exposure: Get involved in every phase of familiarization trip planning, gaining firsthand exposure to the intricacies of our operations. This immersive experience extends across multiple departments, providing a holistic view of our business functions.
Diverse Tasks: Embark on a dynamic learning journey by undertaking a diverse range of responsibilities. From ensuring training completion through auditing to contributing to hotel inspections, your tasks will encompass various facets of our operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Audit Feedback: Verify the completion of essential training modules and assist with feedback collection.
- Presentation Management: Handle the uploading of presentations to our Learning Management System (LMS), managing their scheduling and recording.
- Flight Quoting: Play a role in the quoting process for flights.
- Hotel Inspection Support: Assist in the process of hotel inspections by cross-referencing sales and product lists with historical trip records.
- Trip Logistic Review: Contribute to the final review process by double-checking transfers for groups.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with LMS platforms is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with different departments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review data and identify discrepancies
- Interest in travel, hospitality, or experiential programs is an asset
