Business Development Manager - Interior fit-out

Job Overview

Our client is hirnig a business development manager to the sales department in the company. The role is responsible for leading the company’s growth by securing new projects, expanding client relationships, and enhancing brand visibility. This role combines strategic sales and marketing functions, focusing on identifying business opportunities, preparing competitive proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving revenue targets. Additionally, the Manager develops and executes marketing campaigns, strengthens the company’s presence in the market, and positions the brand as a preferred partner for interior fit-out, joinery, and FF&E solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with safety rules and regulations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 
  • Compliance with OSHAD (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center) in Abu Dhabi. 
  • Compliance with local labor laws and company policies.  
  • Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first around) 
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and safeguard trade secrets. 
  • Respect and support fellow employees always. 
  • Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Business Administration or Equivalent  
  • Minimum 5 years of KSA experience in same role from interior Fut Out industry or Similar  
  • Strong understanding of the interior fit-out, joinery, and FF&E industry (market trends, materials, finishes, and project processes). 
  • Knowledge of sales, business development, and marketing strategies. 
  • Familiarity with tendering, estimation, and contract negotiation. 
  • Understanding digital marketing tools, brand positioning, and corporate communications. 
  • Awareness of KSA fit-out market dynamics. 
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and deal-closing skills. 
  • Strong presentation, ability to speak in seminars, proposal writing, and reporting skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office  
  • Strong marketing and digital campaign management skills. 
  • Analytical skills for market research and competitor analysis. 
  • Networking skills to build and sustain client and industry relationships. 
  • Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies. 
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients. 
  • Ability to manage multiple leads, tenders, and projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to align sales and marketing initiatives with company goals. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, estimation, operations).

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in interior fit-out, joinery, and FF&E projects across high end residential and hospitality sectors. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, designers, consultants, architects, designers, contractors, and clients. 
  • Lead tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations. 
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective projects and convert leads to secured projects. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients. 
  • Understand client requirements and align solutions with company capabilities. 
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. 
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market positioning. 
  • Attend events for networking and building relationships with related parties. 
  • Organize participation in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking events. 
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with estimation, design, production, and project teams to ensure proposals are accurate and achievable. 
  • Provide market feedback to management to refine offerings and enhance competitiveness. 
  • Support cross-functional teams in achieving project-related business goals. 
  • Prepare regular sales reports including forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics 
  • Track progress against revenue targets and marketing objectives. 
  • Recommend corrective actions and strategies to improve business performance. 
  • Lead negotiations with clients on pricing, terms, and contractual agreements 
  • Finalize contracts and obtain client approvals to move projects forward. 
  • Support project teams during project execution to ensure commitments made to clients are delivered. 
  • Continuous Follow up on tender stage  
  • Address client concerns or escalations and coordinate resolution with relevant departments. 
  • Gather client feedback post-project to enhance future services. 
  • Submitting weekly reports including inquiries, quotations log to regional business development manager  
  • To ensure tenders and prequalification are submitted on time
