Key Accounts Executive

Job Overview

Our Client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Key Accounts Executive to join their dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in managing the execution of sales strategies and account plans for modern trade / key accounts, ensuring strong business relationships, achieving sales targets, improving visibility, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management:

- Supervise day-to-day operations with key accounts.

- Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies, promotions, trade marketing activities and market activations at store level.

- Monitor and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

- Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in the market.

- Support in negotiating agreements with accounts regarding listings, displays, and promotions.

Execution & Merchandising:

- Ensure planogram compliance, product availability, and visibility in all outlets.-Oversee execution of in-store promotions and activations.

- Ensure timely replenishment of stock and avoid out-of-stock situations.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account decision-makers.

- Handle and resolve customer complaints or operational issues effectively.

- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Monitor sales performance and share regular reports with management.

- Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve performance.

- Recommend opportunities for growth within each account.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Achievement of sales targets for assigned key accounts.

- Growth in market share and product distribution.

- Effective execution of promotions and trade marketing activities.

- Customer satisfaction and relationship strength.

- Compliance with merchandising standards.

- Team productivity and performance.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably with exposure to modern trade / key accounts.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- A valid driver's license
