Function: Full P&L Ownership + Growth Leadership
Reports to: Group CBO / CEO
Role Mission
Lead RYM’s growth and operational excellence across the GCC by scaling supply (equipment owners)and demand (contractors)
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Commercial Leadership
- Own strategy, market expansion and full P&L profitability
- Build and lead sales, vendor acquisition and operations teams
- Scale supply: contractors, equipment owners, dealers, OEMs
- Expand demand: construction companies, megaprojects, gov’t tenders
- Drive pricing models, commission tiers, asset-utilization metrics
Operations & Product
- Improve fulfillment rates, downtime reduction, service guarantees
- Partner with product team to enhance:
- Digital booking
- tracking
- Verification & safety compliance
- Build strong vendor SLAs and contractor service standards
Partnership & Ecosystem
- Strategic alliances with logistics, insurance, maintenance providers
- Represent RYM with regulators, industrial zones, EPCs, and contractors
People & Culture
- Hire, train and retain high-performing teams in multiple markets
- Leadership presence with execution mindset
Requirements
- 8+ years in heavy-equipment rental, construction logistics, or machinery marketplace
- Proven success scaling operations and commercial revenue
- Strong network with EPCs, contractors and industrial suppliers
- Tech-savvy with marketplace experience (preferred)
- GCC experience a must
