Job Overview

ROLE: Event Technician (m/f/d)

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

LOCATION: Frankfurt, Germany (no travel required)

Yorktel-Kinly's role is to provide on-site technical support for local, virtual and hybrid events. Various scenarios are possible, from small local events to TV studio productions to large hybrid events in multiple languages.

Confident handling of audio and video technology, translation and conference equipment, and an understanding of network technology are required. Experience in providing webcasts and video conferences, as well as knowledge of Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco codecs and MTR systems, would be desirable but is not essential.

A prerequisite for application is completed training as an event technology specialist or a similar qualification.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating the provided infrastructure, equipment and applications in event and meeting rooms.

  • Global collaboration with other locations.

  • Cross-departmental collaboration with technical and event management.

  • Confident, calm and professional demeanour, even in stressful situations.

  • Maintenance and care of the technology provided.

  • Implementation of customer requests during the set-up and execution of events.

  • Collaboration with external suppliers and event service providers.
