Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our talented team in Sydney due to increased work across our existing clients as well as several greenfield projects that are kicking off. You’d be joining the growing Web team within a larger development team of 35+ whilst also working closely with Product Designers and Product Managers.

Your Opportunity

As a Front-End Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with back-end engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and influence feature planning.
  • Apply modern front-end architecture patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and performant applications.
  • Ensure seamless user experiences with attention to accessibility, responsiveness, and visual detail.
  • Use modern state management, asynchronous programming, and API integrations to deliver dynamic applications.
  • Write clean, testable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies and frameworks that improve developer productivity and product quality.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS or pre/post-processors (e.g., SASS, PostCSS).
  • Hands-on experience with working with front-end frameworks and libraries (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, or similar).
  • Experience with responsive, mobile-first design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack, etc.).
  • Understanding of API-driven development (RESTful and GraphQL) and integration best practices.
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Vuex, or similar).
  • Comfortable working with and without frameworks — including strong fundamentals in semantic HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience in an Agile environment, including code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
  • A focus on performance optimization and delivering accessible, inclusive experiences.
