Senior Consultants/Project Managers – Defence Infrastructure

We’re seeking experienced Senior Consultants and Managers to join our Canberra-based team, delivering impactful work across defence industries and federal government infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing or managing project plans and schedules using tools like Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
- The ability to identify risks and cost variations and, propose corrective or mitigation strategies.
- An understanding of or the ability to develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets.
- Confidence in preparing and analysing cost reports and forecasts, resource planning and progress reports.
- Developing cost control policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Coordination skills to guide stakeholders in support of schedule planning and alignment.
- Using quantitative data to support client project teams to make informed decisions.
- Performing on-site reviews to assess the strengths of key processes and controls.
- Contract administration and commercial management processes on projects.

- Proven experience in project environments across defence infrastructure or other capital-intensive industries, ideally in client-side advisory, project management, or project controls.
- Prior consulting or advisory experience within a Project Management consultancy, Head Contractor, Construction Management, or Big 4 environment is highly regarded.
- Strong capability in managing key project elements including cost, risk, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, approvals, and communications across the full project lifecycle.
- Ability to understand client challenges and contribute to effective project delivery solutions.
- Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating, planning, and project management software systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Membership or certification with professional bodies such as AIPM or Engineers Australia is encouraged.
- Defence clearance (NV1) or eligibility to obtain one.
