KPMG is looking for a tech-savvy and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring day-to-day IT support for staff and stakeholders. This role represents the “face of IT”, focused on providing the highest level of customer service. Using innovative solutions, the role is required to ensure that we service our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. Essential to the role is your fascination and love of technology and your desire to try new things and see how they work. You understand that it is important not only to help fix equipment, but to build positive customer relationships with free technical advice and timely repairs.
The Key Responsibilities of This Role Are:
- Provide first-level technical assistance to users via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content accuracy, usability, and uptime.
- Operate a customer-centric support area where users can receive walk-in technical assistance.
- Track and manage IT assets including laptops, peripherals, and accessories; ensure stock is received, recorded, and maintained.
- Actively engage with users on their working floors to identify and resolve technical issues before they are formally reported.
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
- Support the deployment of new hardware and software across the organization.
- Document support activities and contribute to knowledge base articles.
