KPMG in Papua New Guinea is on a growth trajectory, and we require a People & Inclusion (P&I) Capability Officer to join our Support Services team in Port Moresby.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Working closely with P&I Manager and the Firm Partners this role ensures the P&I activities are performed in a timely manner with escalation of situations that may turn into significant P&I issues.
- Handling all P&I queries, disciplinary cases and consultation on best practice HR and adherence to local labor laws.
- Supporting P&I Manager in coordination of Year-End Performance Reviews
- Coordinating, tracking and recording of all disciplinary cases both formal and informal
- Coordinating, tracking and recording of Performance Improvement Plan for employee
- Administering and maintaining HR information systems, databases and spreadsheets.
- Ensuring correct record management and integrity of all confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Prepare and communicate bonuses, promotions, and arrange annual service awards.
- Update and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Arrange counselling services, support employee engagement surveys, and assist with emergency salary advances and salary packaging applications.
