Operational problem solving: Proactively diagnose operational bottlenecks. Deploy tactical, data-driven solutions to remove friction in day-to-day execution.
-
Systems thinking and making: Spot patterns in recurring problems, understand dependencies and determine how to fix the system, be that changing policies, automated workflows or processes.
-
Smart, scalable governance: Develop financial principles and "guardrails" (e.g., spend thresholds, payback time, ROI benchmarks) that incentivise the teams to make the right financial decisions while empowering them to move fast. Identify where we need to stand up or improve business review processes, and how these should interlink across functions.
-
Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the annual budgeting process. Develop and improve forecasts. Build and operationalize variance analysis reporting across P&L KPIs like productivity, revenue, margin and OpEx creating a monthly and quarterly cadence.
-
Data guru: Become a master of data sources, respond to ad hoc questions quickly, accurately, and proactively. Develop dashboards into scalable, self service tools.

-
People: Contribute to the best practices and culture of our team, including innovating and embracing new tech and ways of working. Coach and supervise analysts in the team.
What you'll need:
-
Technical & advanced analytics: Advanced Google Sheet or Excel proficiency. SQL. Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or specialised FP&A software (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan) is beneficial.
-
Proven ability to work in ambiguity: You can frame a problem, find the right data, test hypotheses and move forward without waiting for perfect inputs. You know how to balance precision with pace.
-
Business acumen: You get the interconnected implications of market trends, regulatory shifts, business priorities etc.
-
Communication: You tailor your communication for different stakeholders. You can explain a burn-multiple or LTV/CAC ratio to a non-finance creative or engineer in a way that makes them care about the outcome.
-
Experience: 8+ years across a combination of strategy consulting, banking or FP&A in fast moving environments. At last 2 years experience in FP&A.
How You Work:
-
Low Ego You are equally comfortable developing the 3-year plan for the Board as you are digging into broken cell references in a Google sheet. You are happy to ask for help when you need it, and you jump in to help other people.
-
A "builder". You don’t do things "because that's how they’re done." You figure out if there’s another way to do things. If you have to do the same task three times, your first instinct is to build a tool or a script to automate it forever.
-
You approach ambiguity as an opportunity to create clarity and build structure.
-
You are commercially curious and outcome-focused.
-
You hold yourself to a high bar and thrive in a fast moving, scaling environment.
