Contract Sales Representative - New York City
Position Summary:
Kravet is seeking a strong sales presence in New York City to focus on our Hospitality and Contract side of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys entertaining and has a passion for design, interiors and the hospitality space.
Key Responsibilities:
Call, visit, and connect with customers.
Maintain and grow relationships within the contract industry; Attend events and tradeshows
Forge New relationships
Entertaining clients outside of the office to build deeper relationships
Schedule and give product presentations to increase sales and optimize brand presence.
Ensure all appropriate brands and product categories are properly represented in our customer’s offices and projects.
Generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
Project selling means selling multiple brands and categories of products to customers, including furniture, carpet, wallcovering, lighting, fabric, and trim.
Assist clients with design schemes for all products with consistent follow-through.
Strengthen existing customer relationships measured by increased activity and monitored through our CRM technology, including maintaining customer contact records.
Maintain customers’ book libraries and memo sample bins.
Work to prepare targeted monthly sales plans.
Partner with our showrooms to maximize opportunities across contract accounts.
Assist with some administrative duties such as order follow up, scheduling, and outreach initiatives.
