About the Role:
MICE specialists are professionals who assist clients in planning, contracting, organizing, and executing various events. They act as the primary point of contact, providing personalized end-to-end solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of events and great quality of relationships with clients.
As a MICE Sales professional, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of MICE events. This role requires a deep understanding of the event management industry and a strong ability to translate client requirements into exceptional event solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect potential clients within the MICE industry.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Conduct detailed needs assessments and provide tailored MICE solutions.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues.
Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
Responds to group RFPs through making proposals and sales presentation to prospective clients as well as explain, negotiate and close hotel sales.
Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries.
