About the Role

Our Destination Management services form the core of our business. We take care of everything from ground support, hotel bookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24/7 customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorable travel experiences worry free.

The “Senior Operations Coordinator” is responsible not only for land service bookings such as restaurants, guides, local coaches, special requests etc., but also to coordinate the entire tour and ensure timely confirmations within budget and high level of operational quality. As the most experienced Tour Coordinator, to oversee planning, budgeting, sales activities & product development.

This position also entails active support not only for sales, but Operation team as well. It is also required to support different projects within KT Core and MICE Business, from answering the client request/brief with the best tailored proposal to financial reconciliation and onsite support. This needs to be done with strong commitment to the company and its policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate different type of tours (SER, ADH, SPE, MCE) across your destinations (CZ, SK, HU)

  • Checking itineraries and services quoted by sales to ensure feasibility and making suggestions where necessary to maximize contribution to margin

  • Control cost, profit optimization with renegotiation

  • Planning, budgeting, conception, organization, and completion of the project.

  • Establish and keep a good relationship with all suppliers and sales offices.

  • Handle last minute changes when groups are on the road as well as emergency cases/calls reported by the tour leader or sales office.

  • Handling and supporting Specialized and Mice projects

  • Be on-site/ available during key event days (defined together with the line manager)

  • Creating and ongoing support of your destination marketing toolkit, through tools and unique selling points for the end clients and for Sales to use

  • Upselling and distribution of new destination itineraries and activities

  • Supplier management & procurement support to maximize value creation

  • Comply with company standards and use all in-house IT tools effectively

  • Undertake project work as required by management.

  • Provide support and back up to the OPS Team Leader whenever it is necessary

  • Assist in full training and mentoring to all team members
