I. Supportive Supervision and Clinical Quality Assurance
1. Technical Supervision and Capacity Strengthening
- Serve as the focal person for supportive monitoring and supervision of the medical team, providing technical and clinical guidance to the clinic team including Medical Officers and Nurses involved in LPK services.
- Plan and conduct induction and refresher trainings for newly recruited clinic team members, including hands-on clinical training relevant to LPK program components.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and programmatic support to operation teams for the effective implementation of activities.
2. Service Quality Monitoring and Compliance
- Ensure the quality of services provided at LPK KPSCs through regular monitoring of clinical protocols, data collection systems, and adherence to quality-of-care standards.
- Conduct supportive supervision visits to assigned clinics using standardized medical team monitoring checklists and provide follow-up support through remote approaches, as needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of medical teams with SOPs, service delivery standards, and program tools.
- Organize and implement quality assurance activities for assigned LPK sites.
- Monitor program performance indicators and service quality across assigned sites and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
3. Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Commodity Management
- Monitor Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards at KPSCs and review internal IPC audit reports from site level, providing technical feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure adequate forecasting, availability, and proper management of medical commodities and IEC materials at LPK sites.
4. Development of Job aids, SOPs and IEC materials
- Lead and coordinate the review, revision, and development of technical tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), particularly service delivery standards, in line with national guidelines.
- Act as a technical support for development of IEC and promotional materials.
II. Strategic Planning and Program Development
1. Program Focal Point and Donor Coordination
- Act as the focal person for assigned LPK program components under the guidance of the Technical Manager, including coordination of donor communication and tracking of program achievements and budget utilization.
2. Technical Oversight of Core Service Areas
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for the following program components:
- HIV Testing Services (all modalities)
- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
- Tuberculosis screening, contact tracing and referral for treatment (Anti-TB and TPT)
- Sexual and Reproductive Health services
- Tailored services for key populations such as Transgender services
3. Service Delivery Innovation and System Strengthening
- Work closely with the Technical Manager to design and implement innovative interventions and to strengthen the service delivery flow across LPK programs.
- Provide technical support to the online team and Virtual KPSC, as required.
4. Reporting, Strategic Monitoring, and Performance Improvement
- Support the preparation of technical presentations, donor reports, and external/public reports related to LPK services.
- Participate in the monitoring of LPK strategic plans and contribute to action planning to ensure the achievement of program targets.
