The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated audio-visual systems. This individual will travel to customer locations within driving distance (mileage reimbursed) and serve as a trusted technical resource for clients. There is a shared on-call rotation; however, after-hours calls are rare.

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated audio-visual systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site service calls and preventative maintenance at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and repair complex audio, video, and control systems
- Diagnose and replace components including projection systems (LCD/DLP/CRT), switchers, and control interfaces
- Install, modify, and test integrated AV systems
- Support system commissioning and provide installation assistance as needed
- Provide technical phone support to clients and internal teams
- Coordinate product returns and exchanges
- Complete service documentation including work orders, reports, and expense tracking
- Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally in the field
- Assist in promoting service capabilities within the assigned territory
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and servicing audio-visual systems
- Experience working with integrated AV, control systems, and video/audio distribution
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently at client sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
