Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts while actively developing new corporate B2B and local/state government customers
- Prospect, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities with a strong hunter mentality
- Prepare, write, and submit accurate and professional proposals and bid responses
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, proposals, and requests
- Follow up on all sales leads to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Represent and promote the organization’s products, services, and solutions
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer and opportunity records in a CRM system
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Deliver sales presentations to customers and internal stakeholders as needed
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of all product lines and services offered
- Identify and participate in role-specific training and professional development opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Prior experience in customer relations, marketing, or sales communications
- Strong background in sales, customer service, and/or cold calling
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, close, and grow accounts in a competitive environment
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a strong “hunter” mindset
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Growth-oriented mindset with strong business ethics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 5+ years of sales experience in AV, IT, telecommunications, or related technology fields
