The Director, Corporate Sales is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the sales function, including new business development, revenue and gross profit attainment, and execution of a defined growth strategy across assigned regions. This role provides leadership, mentorship, and performance management to Account Managers, ensuring consistent sales processes, effective prospecting strategies, and high-quality customer engagement.
The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with overall organizational goals, drive operational excellence, and support long-term growth.

This role provides leadership, mentorship, and performance management to Account Managers, ensuring consistent sales processes, effective prospecting strategies, and high-quality customer engagement.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily corporate sales activities
- Establish guidelines for prospecting, client meetings, reporting, and pipeline management
- Coach and mentor Account Managers through regular performance meetings and field support
- Accompany Account Managers on customer calls to provide guidance and sales coaching
- Support and participate in industry events and trade shows
- Attend professional training and certification programs as required
- Ensure alignment of sales strategy with organizational goals, including performance, retention, and talent development
- Prepare, administer, and distribute timely sales reports, forecasts, and projections
- Communicate sales trends, risks, and opportunities to the management team
- Lead staff development and training initiatives, including ongoing performance evaluations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan, including:
- Market research and analysis
- Sales projections and forecasting
- Territory or vertical market assignments
- Key account identification and development strategies
- Establish standardized procedures for submitting high-quality customer proposals
- Ensure all sales staff evaluations are conducted in accordance with established policies
- Attend client or project meetings as needed and determine appropriate escalation or leadership involvement
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, and leadership
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to motivate and lead sales and administrative teams toward shared objectives
- Self-motivated, results-driven professional capable of working independently and meeting deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead or significantly contribute to operational and strategic initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5β7 years of sales management experience, preferably in a technology, systems integration, or related industry
