Job Overview

We Are

Breaking The Law

LawAdvisor was founded in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia with a fearless and ambitious belief: that everybody should have access to justice.

We hypothesised that the high costs, inefficiencies, and difficulties of obtaining legal help could be overcome simply by providing greater access to legal information, and by providing everybody with real-time access to high-quality, affordable lawyers online.

Our mission has since been supported by thousands of lawyers and has allowed us to expand and set up offices across the globe. We've also attracted high-profile investors and partners who have shared our mission to transform legal service delivery.

We're still not satisfied. The potential exists to completely revolutionise the practice of law. The start of this decade has delivered LawAdvisor with a new mandate: to overhaul and transform how lawyers work, and how people interact with and consume legal services, with state-of-the-art legal practise management technology to (i) increase efficiencies; (ii) automate routine processes; (iii) increase transparency; (iv) bring the legal practice to the 21st century.

We Need

A Legal Strategist

You’re part legal researcher, part strategist, part content architect — and all about impact. You understand how legal knowledge can be mapped into processes, how those workflows can be transformed into intuitive product experiences, and how thoughtful design can drive both clarity and efficiency.

As someone deeply immersed in legal concepts and how lawyers work day to day, you’ll help shape, influence, and refine the future of our products. One day you’ll be breaking down a complex legal workflow into its component steps to inform a new feature; the next, you’ll be guiding how we design adoption playbooks so clients can bring those workflows to life.

You thrive in cross-functional environments and can navigate the “messy middle”, where ideas aren’t fully formed, but the potential is limitless. You know how to prioritise what matters, separate signal from noise, and communicate clearly under pressure.

You’re not satisfied with surface-level fixes — you dig into the detail, test assumptions, and iterate until workflows are not only mapped but mastered. You’ll work closely with our product, engineering, design and marketing teams ensuring that our platform isn’t just accurate, but usable — helping us deliver on our mission to transform the way legal services are delivered.

You Will

  • Research and analyse legal processes across various practice areas, mapping workflows end-to-end to uncover opportunities for improvement.

  • Translate legal research into product design, turning insights into features, configurations, or playbooks that help teams operate at their best.

  • Master the details of legal workflows, ensuring our platform is built not just for legal professionals, but with a real understanding of how they think and work.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams, acting as the subject-matter expert on legal use cases and workflow design.

  • Guide clients through adoption, helping them see immediate value and measurable impact in their day-to-day work.

  • Contribute to the product roadmap, making sure user feedback and legal research inform what we build next.

  • Educate and empower legal teams, delivering demos, training, and resources that demystify legal technology and unlock adoption.
