Job Overview
- Overall management of the finance team.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Overseeing of the internal and external audit processes.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Presenting and reporting accurate and timely financial information of the company to the board and all stakeholders. This includes working on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting organisational revenue/expense reporting.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Responsible for the company’s overall financial health. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Monitor banking activities of the organisation.
- Ensure adequate cash flow in place to meet the organisation’s needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies – need to identify, assess, and respond to ongoing and emerging risks to the organisation by ensuring compliance with the growing number of regulations and laws.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
- Preparation of the Board Pack, attending Board meetings as required and provide useful/necessary financial inputs on various parameters.
