Junior Foreign Procurement and Logistics Officer

Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, your main missions will be:

  • Manage end-to-end import operations, including purchase orders, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery to the factory.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard qualified local & international suppliers. 
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation (invoice, packing list, Bill of lading/airway bill, COO, LC documents, etc.).
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and customs authorities.Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international import laws, company procurement policies, customs regulations, and trade policies.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, discrepancies, or customs issues.
  • Handle LC opening, amendments, and ongoing liaison with banks.
  • Compute customs duties, taxes, and overall landed costs accuracy.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of import documentation for audits compliance & managerial reporting.
  • Evaluate import & logistics workflows to improve efficiency & control costs.

You will work closely with finance, warehouse and production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
