Summary: The Business Manager for the Parts & Accessories – Washing Machine product line will lead strategic planning, product lifecycle management, and cross‑functional execution to drive category growth and market competitiveness. This role requires a seasoned professional who can influence product strategy, shape market positioning, and ensure successful commercialization from concept through end of life. You will serve as the central business owner, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Global HQ teams to strengthen LG’s leadership in the home appliance market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy for the Parts & Accessories – Washing Machine category, including long‑term roadmap development, business case creation, and market positioning
- Drive cross‑functional alignment with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to execute product launches and enhancements
- Evaluate market opportunities through in‑depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights
- Own pricing strategy, promotional direction, and margin management to meet revenue and profitability targets
- Recommend and prioritize product enhancements to improve user experience, performance, and competitiveness
- Develop and manage go‑to‑market strategies, including launch plans, messaging, and training content for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor post‑launch product performance and lead corrective actions to address issues or capitalize on opportunities
- Partner with technical teams to guide complex system or configuration requirements
- Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and global counterparts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3–7+ years of experience in product management, category management, strategic marketing, or a related field within consumer electronics, appliances, or other high‑tech industries
- Proven success managing end‑to‑end product lifecycles, including roadmap development, cross‑functional leadership, and P&L or margin accountability
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data‑driven decision‑making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and leadership
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean strongly preferred due to frequent collaboration with Global HQ
